Zinnwald Lithium GmbH aims to develop a strategically important lithium project in the Eastern Ore Mountains, with a focus on sustainable, domestic raw material supply for the European battery industry. The integrated project combines mining and processing in a single facility and sets new standards in environmental compatibility, regional value creation, and technological innovation. With a planned production capacity of up to 35,000 tons of lithium hydroxide per year, the project makes a significant contribution to the energy transition, electromobility, and Europe’s supply sovereignty. The focus is on underground mining, short transport routes, the highest environmental standards, and close dialogue with the local region.
